Katie Mallett

“INVITING PEOPLE INTO MY STRUGGLE IS A NECESSARY PART OF MOVING FORWARD.”

She started her career working for a nonprofit and soon transitioned to the IT industry. Eventually, she landed at a marketing agency, but the common thread throughout her career was always relationship building and creating experiences for others to connect. She realized that she working towards a mission she believed in was the highest priority, and made the decision to leave the corporate world in 2016 to figure out how to make that a reality.

After a long journey of searching for her purpose + calling and making sense of her gifts + strengths, Make + Do started taking shape. When she’s not “making + doing”, she’s hanging with her husband and their dog, Tucker.
